We employ well-trained professionals that are certified from basic scaffold erection and safety techniques, to first aid, CPR, blood borne pathogens, confined space and other job specific training requirements. Having built a solid scaffolding service reputation with leading industrial and general contractors in Virginia and the Carolinas , Scaffolding Solutions identified the ship repair industry in Hampton Roads, Virginia as an important market segment for scaffolding and marine staging services. Shipyard operations have demanding performance, safety, and quality requirements that their end users require on mission-critical military and commercial vessels while in-port receiving duty-cycle maintenance and repairs. Our existing industrial and general construction experience and safety performance aligned similarly.

Therefore, in mid-2008 Scaffolding Solutions opened an office in Chesapeake , VA staffed with skilled ship repair, industrial, and construction scaffolding tradesmen and management. In addition, a substantial inventory of Plus Eight scaffolding was stocked at the new 2608 Indian River Road yard location. The Tidewater Operation’s scaffolding performance has created very positive growth in all Tidewater business segments; Construction, Industrial, Institutional, and Ship Repair, with Scaffolding Solutions now serving major ship repair organizations and their high-quality sub-contractors. Our services include major project work for military and government installations, municipal and private organizations, institutional facilities, and industrial, commercial, and general contractors in the area.
